AlliedFCU SUPPORTS ARLINGTON CHARITIES

Allied Federal Credit Union recently donated $500 Arlington Charities to help feed families during the summer who normally rely on free and reduced lunches during the school year.

The donation was part of AlliedFCU’s monthly Casual for a Cause program. Each month AlliedFCU staff members donate money to a cause in exchange for dressing casually at work. An employee committee selects each cause. They chose Arlington Charities because the food pantry gets so many requests from families when school is out.

“A lot of families in our community need support during the summer because they do not have access to free and reduced lunches,” said Tonia Clark, CEO at AlliedFCU. “This donation is our way of helping Arlington Charities fill the increased needs during the summer months.
