Online/Mobile BANKING tips: card controls, travel notifications and rewards points

June 24, 2024

Card Controls in Online/Mobile banking enable you to:

  1. Turn your AlliedFCU debit card on and off

  2. Report your card lost or stolen

  3. Set travel alerts so your card continues working when you are out of town

  4. View debit card Rewards Points

You must enroll in Online/Mobile Banking before you can use these services. Find enrollment instructions here.

How to access Card Controls

Click on the Accounts Tab and Select Card Control.

Select the debit card for which you want to use Card Controls.

Select Lock Card to turn your card off temporarily. This will lock a debit card immediately. Use this feature if you lost your card but believe there’s a good chance you will find it soon.

Report a card as lost or stolen – Select this option understanding that the card will be deactivated immediately and permanently. You will then need to contact the Credit Union to replace that card with a new one.

For claims against fraudulent transactions on your account, please contact a Member Service Representative at 817-856-4444 during normal business hours.

How to set a Travel Notification

Travel notifications should be set when you will be out of town and plan to use your AlliedFCU debit card there. The travel notification will prevent your card from being flagged or restricted due to activity outside your normal area while still protecting your account from fraud.

AlliedFCU also suggests using your PIN when possible to signify that you are the person using your card.

Click on Travel Notifications under the Accounts tab.

Input travel dates.

Select Destinations within the USA and/or International where you plan to use your card.

Select which cards will be used during this time.

Click the Save Travel button to save your travel notification.

How to access Debit Card Rewards with +Points

Click on the Rewards option from the Accounts tab.

Select the account for which you wish to access your Rewards (all debit cards held by the member for an account are linked in +Points. Members with multiple accounts will have different points for each account based on card usage.)
