Online/Mobile bill pay tips: Transferring money from Account to account, Member to member and recurring transfers

Transferring money in Online/Mobile Banking makes paying friends and family easy and convenient. This blog post will walk you step-by-step through various processes for transferring funds, including:

1.     Transferring funds between accounts

You must enroll in Online/Mobile Banking before you can use Bill Pay. Find enrollment instructions here.


How to set up Transfers and Recurring Account to Account Transfers

Once logged into Online or Mobile Banking, click or tap the “Transfers” tab.

To add an account, click or tap the blue “+Account” button.


Input the account information (External Account Transfer through Bill Pay is only available for accounts in member name).

You will be required to verify information on the next screen.


To make a transfer, select the account you are paying from and the account you are paying to.

Input the amount and date.

To make it a recurring payment, click or tap “Make it Recurring” to the right of the date.


Input your request and click or tap the “Submit” button.


How to Make Internal Account to Account and Member to Member Transfers

Click or tap the Transfers & Payments tab, then select Make  a Transfer.


For internal account to account transfers (meaning from one AlliedFCU account to another AlliedFCU account), select a
”From” account and a “To” account.

Input the amount, when to send the money and add a memo (optional) for the transfer.

Click or tap the Transfer button.

For member-to-member transfers, click or tap To Another Member on the left below “Other Options”.

Select an account to transfer from and then select a payee.


From here you can add a new payee by clicking or tapping the + Add New Payee button.


When adding a payee, you will need that person’s account information and the last name listed on that person’s account. DO NOT give your information to unknown users.

Click or tap the Add Payee button when the required information has been added.


To pay, select a “From” account and the payee you are paying.

Input the amount, when to send the money and a memo (optional) for the transfer.

Click or tap the Transfer button.


Transferring Funds to Your Account at Another Financial Institution

You can make same-day and next-business-day transfers to your account at another financial institution by clicking or tapping “At other financial institutions” on the left side of the screen.

To add an external account, click or tap “Manage external accounts” next to the gear symbol in the blue box.

You will need your routing and account information to link your accounts through external transfers.

Once you input the information, click or tap the “Link Account” button.


You will receive two micro-deposits of less than $0.50 into your account at your other financial institution.

Click “Manage Accounts” and insert the amounts when prompted.

Click or Tap the “Confirm” button.


All transfers can be set up on a recurring schedule.
