AlliedFCU Donates $515 to Mansfield Mission Center

See a need. Fill a need. That’s how AlliedFCU operates, and it sure came in handy this month for the Mansfield Mission Center. The credit union donated $515 to the center after seeing a social media post about donations needed for the food pantry. The money came from AlliedFCU’s Casual for a Cause fund, which enables employees to pay for dressing casually at work. That money gets donated to a different local cause each month.

“We would have liked to hold a food drive in our branches, but there just wasn’t time to fill Mansfield Mission’s Center’s immediate need for food,” said Tonia Clark, AlliedFCU CEO. “Thankfully, we had extra money in our Casual for a Cause fund, so this worked out perfectly. We have since learned that the center offers financial, employment and wellness coaching to their clients. I love that they’re giving everyone the tools they need to improve their lives. It’s a great program.” 

That’s what AlliedFCU tries to do for its members every day – give them the necessary tools to improve their financial wellbeing. That shared mission with Mansfield Mission Center makes the credit union’s donation that much more meaningful.
