AlliedFCU Celebrates North Texas Giving Day by Gifting $1,500 in Local Donations
AlliedFCU celebrated North Texas Giving Day by donating $750 each to Arlington Life Shelter and Mansfield Mission Center – two organizations that regularly have a meaningful impact on families across the region.
Arlington Life Shelter has served homeless individuals and families in Tarrant County since 1987, providing emergency shelter, case management and employment services designed to help residents achieve long-term self-sufficiency. Mansfield Mission Center supports families facing crisis or poverty in the Mansfield area through free medical care, a food pantry and financial and job-readiness coaching aimed at building lasting independence.
“We chose Arlington Life Shelter and Mansfield Mission Center because both organizations are doing hands-on, everyday work to help our neighbors get back on their feet. The work they do is life changing to the people in our communities,” said Tonia Clark, CEO of AlliedFCU. “Casual for a Cause lets our employees be part of that impact, and it’s rewarding to see their contributions turn into real support for local families.”
The gifts were funded through AlliedFCU’s Casual for a Cause program, which allows employees to pay a small fee for the option to dress casually at work. Contributions are pooled into a fund that AlliedFCU periodically donates to causes benefiting the local community.
